From the Mexican Chiapas region we have an organic, fair trade coffee that was deecaffeinated at the organic Mountain Water Process plant which uses pure water and a carbon filter to remove 99.9% of the caffeine. The plant is in Mexico, so it makes sense that they take pride in decaffinating these Mexican beans. Mexican coffee tends to be nutty and bright, and that nuttiness comes through here, but with a smoothness and very little acidity. The mouthfeel is creamy and the aftertaste is sweet. A fun new option for our decaf customers.
